Dandori Academy Exam Days and the November 12 Exception
Know when the demo's exams become available, why practice does not count, and how launch Thursday differs from the ordinary weekend schedule.
Can you take a demo exam on November 3?
No qualifying demo exam is announced for November 3. The demo has launched, but Nintendo’s November 2 notice ties its exam availability to the full edition’s release. You can practise beforehand; the availability of a course does not mean its scored exam is open.
This matters for Pikmin Bloom linked rewards. An exam requirement is not fulfilled by practising the same course, even if you achieve a result you are happy with.
What is the announced schedule?
| Period or day | What Nintendo confirms |
|---|---|
| November 3, before full release | Demo practice; no qualifying exam announced yet |
| Thursday, November 12 | Special exam session on the full edition’s release date |
| After full release | Ordinary exam days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday |
| Practice | Available every day, with unlimited practice described in the overview |
The Thursday session is an explicit launch exception, not a change making every Thursday an exam day. The normal Friday-to-Sunday wording appears in English material; the special November 12 date is documented in Nintendo’s Japanese demo notice.
If a guide simply says “weekends only,” it misses the announced release-day exception. Conversely, the exception does not open an exam in the pre-release demo a week earlier.
How many attempts do you get?
Nintendo’s English overview describes an ordinary exam attempt once per week. Its detailed Japanese rules also document tickets for retaking the same stage. These statements need to be read together: one ordinary attempt is not a claim that no retry is ever possible.
See attempts and retake tickets for the separate monthly grant and practice-earned tickets. This page covers when exams run; it does not assign tickets to a particular unverified demo menu.
What should you check if an exam appears unavailable?
First identify whether you selected practice or an exam, then check whether full release and the announced exam period have begun. Nintendo says taking exams requires an internet connection. These are distinct checks; being online does not override the calendar.
No precise rollover hour or controlling timezone was verified in the reviewed sources. This site therefore does not give a midnight reset, countdown or guaranteed conversion to your local time. Check the in-game availability and current Nintendo notices close to the session.
Stage releases use a monthly schedule, which should not be confused with these weekly exam days. For a result you have already earned, scores, medals and points explains what each number means.
